The natural oil-based ink actually conditions the rubber and extends the life of stamps. And there's no need for cleaner--the ink simply wipes off of rubber stamps with a damp tissue / cloth. This pad will pick up the fine details of your intricate stamps and is water and fade resistant--perfect for water coloring and outlines!
