National Scrapbook Day Weekend Crop

Join us May 2nd and 3rd for 19 hours of scrapbooking in celebration of NATIONAL SCRAPBOOK DAY. Start Friday 5p.m. to midnight then start again Saturday from 10a.m. to 10p.m. We will have goodies on your table waiting for you and we will provide a scrumptious dinner Friday and lunch and dinner on Saturday. Scrap to your hearts content, participate in our make 'n' takes, play a game and win some fun prizes. Our space is limited to 15 so don't delay. Pre-payment is required to register. For payment security reason we do not take payments over the phone, so please pay in person or mail a check. Fee: $40

Scrappers Garage SALE . . . May 17^th

It's that time again, clean out those drawers of unwanted items. Take advantage of this opportunity to sell the supplies you no longer use and earn money to purchase the latest and greatest.

To sell items all you have to do is come in to the store and fill out a registration form. We will assign you a letter. You price your items and identify them with your letter. The items are then turned in at the store and we will do our best to sell them for you on the sale day. We will track your sales and give you dollar for dollar in Scrapbook King 'n' Stampstruck bucks for your items that are sold.

For those of you that are bargain hunters, you won't want to miss these sale days. You'll find treasures galore at unbeatable prices. Show up early as there is always a line of anxious people waiting for some great finds

Fred Mullett “The Fishboy”

We are so excited to announce that Fred is coming to teaching 3 very fun and unique classes on Saturday & Sunday, May 31 & June 1^st. See sample boards at the store. Pre-payment is required to register and space is limited.

"Spritz Me, Baby...Mo' Bettah!", Diffused Watercolor Effects Finding merit in the "less is more" concept and the power of imprecision, this class focuses on the soluble properties of markers and other water-based media to achieve watercolor effects using rubber stamps. Bleaching out imagery on black paper, then re-introducing color with high contrast accents is also tackled to achieve startling effects. Raincoats are optional. (Just kidding!)

Dancing Rubber Fish Expanding the methods of multi-color printing with multi-color embossing and watercolor additions, this class is geared toward the experienced student, though could be considered a "sink or swim" lesson for beginners. (There will also be a short demonstration on how to make colored transparent powders using alcohol inks.)

"The Elegant Mess" A veritable food fight of a class! Where the spontaneous meets the specific. Where the positive meets the negative. And where leftovers go to play. We will fiddle around with principles of figure/ground relationship as we integrate Ranger Color Wash Dyes and Luminarte H²Os, collage, stencils, and stamps on Oriental and watercolor paper with remarkable results. Suitable for small or large format work, this visual play time will add miles to artistic efforts!

Each class runs 3½ -4 hours. $50.00 per student, includes handouts and a large supply of instructor-provided supplies. Students will be responsible for a minimal list of specific required materials.

Friday, September 26 In store make ‘n’ takes at 6 local Scrapbook Stores and Saturday, September 27all day crop at the Ramada Inn Convention Center in Medford, vendor booths, 2 catered meals and two classes from renowned scrapbook artists Ali Edwards and Karen Russell! Limited number of tickets are available…so don’t delay! Ticket price $100Portion of the proceeds benefit local Autism organization.
